Problem:
We developed a system capable of acquiring, compressing, and wirelessly transmitting audio and video to Zigbee, Bluetooth or Ethernet access points.

Solution:
Our solution accepts digitized audio and video from TI codecs, utilizes a TI C6000 series Digital Signal Processor to process, compress, pack the low-bitrate stream to dedicated hardware, and a Silicon Labs high-integration 8051C121 series microprocessor with an on-board Zigbee transceiver and interfaces for alternate Bluetooth and Ethernet modules. An emulator port coupled with Code Composer Studio permits very efficient algorithm development. An additional USB port provides another means of transfering high-bandwidth data to/from the board.
