We designed a High-speed I/O Daughterboard designed for TI Starter Kits featuring four 8-bit, user-programmable bidirectional I/O
ports that can be configured individually as 8-bit input or output or as two 16-bit I/O ports, an 8-bit dedicated output port,
an 8-bit dedicated input port, 4 individual output and 4 input strobes of either bipolar or differential levels,
interrupt generation from any combination of input strobes, 1-bit apiece of opto-isolated I/O,
a high-speed USB interface with 16-bit wide data path to the DSP,
and user-programmable LEDs. In addition, selectable biplar input/output levels can be driven from the motherboard 3.3 or 5.0 volt
supplies or an external user supplied 3.0 to 5.5V source.
